オンライン日本語レッスン利用規約

この利用規約（以下「本規約」）は、「てくてく日本語」が提供する有料オンライン日本語レッスン（以下「本レッスン」）の利用条件を定めるものです。
本レッスンのお申し込み・受講にあたっては、本規約に同意したものとみなします。
※体験レッスンについては、別途定める規約が優先されます。

第1条（適用範囲）

1. 本規約は、本レッスンに関する一切の関係に適用されます。
2. 本レッスンの詳細・料金・申込方法などは、本規約のほか、ウェブサイト上の案内・個別のメールでのやりとりにも定める場合があります。

第2条（運営者）

1. 本レッスンは、「てくてく日本語」（以下「講師」）が個人事業として運営します。
2. 事業者名、所在地、連絡先、決済方法その他の情報は、「特定商取引法に基づく表記」のページに記載します。

第3条（レッスンの内容）

1. 本レッスンは、オンラインで行う1対1の日本語レッスンです。
2. 対象は、主に大人の日本語学習者で、ひらがなが読め、基本的な日本語を学んだ経験のある初級者から上級者までとします。
3. 学習者のレベル・目的・興味に応じて、次のような内容を組み合わせて指導します。
   • 会話練習（自然な日常会話・仕事の日本語など）
   • 文法の復習・使い分け
   • 語彙・漢字・読解・聴解
   • JLPT N4〜N1 対策
   • 日本の文化・生活・マナーに関する話題　など
4. レッスン内容は、受講者と相談のうえ、柔軟にカスタマイズします。

第4条（レッスンプラン）

本レッスンには、次の2つのプランがあります。

1．単発レッスン

1回50分のレッスンを、その都度申し込み、1回分ずつ支払うプランです。

同じ月に複数回受講する場合でも、月4回プランを事前に申し込んでいない場合は、単発レッスンの料金が適用されます。

2．月4回プラン

• 1回50分のレッスンを、1か月に4回受講するプランです。
• 月4回分の料金をまとめて事前に支払うことで、単発レッスンを4回受講する場合より、受講料が5％割引になります。
• 月4回プランを希望する場合は、原則として対象月の最初のレッスンまでに講師へ申し込み、所定の料金をお支払いください。
• 単発レッスンと月4回プランは、受講者の希望に応じて月ごとに選択できます。

第5条（料金・支払い方法）

1．レッスン料金

受講者は、台湾ドル、米ドル、日本円のうち、希望する通貨を選択して支払うものとします。

台湾ドル（TWD）

• 単発レッスン（50分×1回）：800 TWD
• 月4回プラン（50分×4回）：3,040 TWD
  ※単発レッスン4回分から5％割引

米ドル（USD）

• 単発レッスン（50分×1回）：25 USD
• 月4回プラン（50分×4回）：95 USD
  ※単発レッスン4回分から5％割引

日本円（JPY）

• 単発レッスン（50分×1回）：3,800円
• 月4回プラン（50分×4回）：14,440円
  ※単発レッスン4回分から5％割引

支払い通貨は、受講者の居住地や国籍にかかわらず、上記3通貨の中から選択できます。

上記以外の通貨による支払いには対応していません。

2．支払い方法

支払い方法は、次のとおりとします。

• PayPal
• 日本国内の銀行口座への振込

台湾ドルおよび米ドルで支払う場合は、PayPalを利用します。

日本円で支払う場合は、PayPalまたは日本国内の銀行口座への振込を利用できます。

銀行振込手数料、為替換算手数料、海外決済手数料その他、支払いに伴って発生する手数料は、受講者の負担とします。

3．支払い時期

• 単発レッスンは、原則としてレッスン日前日までに受講料をお支払いください。講師が入金を確認した時点で、予約が確定します。
• 月4回プランは、原則として対象月の最初のレッスンまでに、4回分の料金をまとめてお支払いください。講師が入金を確認した時点で、申込みが確定します。

4．返金

一度お支払いいただいた料金は、本規約に別途定める場合を除き、返金いたしません。

第6条（申込と契約の成立）

1. 本レッスンのお申し込みは、ウェブサイトの申込フォーム、メール、その他講師が指定する方法により行うものとします。
2. 講師が申込内容を確認し、レッスン内容・日時・料金・支払い方法などについて合意したうえで、受講者が支払いを完了した時点で、レッスン契約が成立します。

第7条（予約・スケジュール）

1. レッスンの予約は、講師が提示するオンラインカレンダーまたはメール等で行います。
2. レッスンの曜日・時間帯は、受講者と講師が相談のうえ決定します。
3. 定期的な曜日・時間を希望される場合、できる範囲で固定枠を確保しますが、講師の都合や受講者の事情により、日程を変更させていただく場合があります。

第8条（キャンセル・日程変更）

1. レッスンのキャンセル・日程変更を希望する場合は、レッスン日前日の21時（日本時間）までにメール等でご連絡ください。
2. 前日21時以降のキャンセル・日程変更、または連絡なしの欠席（無断欠席）の場合は、
   • 単発レッスン……その1回分は受講済みとみなし、返金・振替はできません。
   • 月4回プラン……当月のレッスン1回分を消化したものとみなし、振替はできません。
3. 急な体調不良や災害・事故など、やむを得ない事情がある場合は、この限りではありません。状況をうかがったうえで、可能な範囲で振替などの対応を相談します。
4. 講師の都合によりレッスンをキャンセル・変更する場合は、できるだけ早くご連絡し、別日への振替などの対応を行います。

第9条（月4回プランの有効期間・繰り越し）

• 月4回プランのレッスンは、原則として、対象月の末日までに4回すべて受講するものとします。
• 受講者の都合により当月中に受講できなかったレッスンは、原則として翌月へ繰り越すことはできません。
• ただし、体調不良や仕事の都合など、やむを得ない事情があり、事前またはできるだけ早く講師へ連絡した場合は、講師の判断により、未受講分の一部または全部について翌月末までの繰り越しを認めることがあります。
• 繰り越しが認められたレッスンは、翌月末までに受講してください。翌月末までに受講しなかった場合は失効し、返金はいたしません。

第10条（遅刻・無断欠席）

1. レッスンに遅刻しそうな場合は、わかり次第、メール等でご連絡ください。
2. 受講者が遅刻した場合でも、原則としてレッスン終了時刻の延長はできず、予定していた終了時刻までをレッスン時間とします。
3. レッスン開始後15分を過ぎても、受講者からの連絡がなく、オンライン教室への入室もない場合、その回は「無断欠席」とみなし、単発レッスン・月４回プランともに1回分を受講済みとして扱います。
4. 講師が遅刻した場合や、講師側の通信トラブルでレッスンが大きく短くなってしまった場合は、延長または振替レッスンなど、なんらかの方法で補うよう調整します。

第11条（通信環境・オンラインツール）

1. 本レッスンは、Zoom等のオンライン会議ツールを利用して行います。
2. 受講者は、次の環境を各自で準備・確認してください。
   • 安定したインターネット回線
   • カメラ・マイク付きの PC／タブレット／スマートフォン
   • できるだけ静かな場所
3. 受講者側の通信障害や機器トラブルなどによりレッスンが実施できなかった場合、原則としてレッスンの振替や返金はできません。
4. 明らかに講師側の通信障害・機器トラブルでレッスンが中断した場合は、振替レッスンなどの対応を行います。

第12条（教材・著作権）

1. 本レッスンで使用する教材には、
   • 講師が作成したオリジナル資料
   • Podcast のスクリプト
   • 市販の教科書・問題集　などが含まれます。
2. 講師が提供するオリジナル資料・音声・動画等の著作権は、すべて講師または「てくてく日本語」に帰属します。
3. 受講者は、提供された資料を個人の学習目的に限って使用できるものとし、講師の許可なく複製・転載・配布・販売・公開（SNS・動画サイト等を含む）してはなりません。
4. 市販教材を使用する場合、その購入費用は受講者の負担となる場合があります（事前にご案内します）。

第13条（録音・録画）

1. 受講者が復習のためにレッスンを録音・録画したい場合は、事前に講師の許可を得てください。
2. 録音・録画したデータは、個人の学習目的以外には使用できません。第三者への配布・公開は禁止します。
3. 講師側がレッスンを録音・録画する場合は、教材改善等を目的とし、事前に受講者の同意を得たうえで行います。

第14条（禁止事項）

受講者は、レッスンの受講にあたり、次の行為を行ってはなりません。

1. 講師や第三者に対する誹謗中傷、差別的発言、ハラスメント行為
2. レッスンの進行を著しく妨げる行為
3. レッスンで知り得た情報や教材を、許可なく第三者へ共有・販売・公開する行為
4. 法令または公序良俗に反する行為
5. その他、講師が不適切と判断する行為

これらの行為が確認された場合、レッスンの継続をお断りすることがあります。その場合でも、すでにお支払いいただいた料金の返金は行いません。

第15条（個人情報の取り扱い）

1. 申込時にご提供いただいた氏名・メールアドレス等の個人情報は、
   • レッスンに関するご連絡
   • サービス・イベント等のご案内
   • レッスン内容の改善のための分析（統計的利用）
     を目的として利用します。
2. ご本人の同意なく、第三者に個人情報を提供することはありません（法令に基づく場合を除きます）。
3. メールマガジンや新サービスのご案内をお送りする場合がありますが、不要な場合は配信停止ができます。

第16条（学習成果の保証）

1. 本レッスンは、受講者の日本語力向上をサポートするものですが、
   • JLPT 等の試験の合格
   • 具体的なスコア・結果
     を保証するものではありません。
2. 学習成果は、受講者本人の学習時間・体調・生活環境など、さまざまな要因によって異なることをご理解ください。

第17条（規約の変更）

1. 講師は、必要に応じて本規約の内容を変更することができます。
2. 規約を変更した場合は、ウェブサイト上での掲示、またはメールによる通知等により受講者にお知らせします。
3. 規約変更後も本レッスンを継続して受講される場合、変更後の規約に同意いただいたものとみなします。

第18条（準拠法・協議）

1. 本規約および本レッスンに関する一切の事項には、日本法を適用します。
2. 本レッスンに関してトラブルや意見の相違が生じた場合、受講者と講師は、誠実に話し合いによって解決を図るものとします。

線上日語課程服務條款

本服務條款（以下稱「本條款」）旨在規定「てくてく日本語」所提供之付費線上日語課程（以下稱「本課程」）的使用條件。

學員申請或參加本課程，即視為已閱讀並同意本條款。

※體驗課程如另有規定，則以體驗課程之相關規定為優先。

第1條（適用範圍）

1. 本條款適用於學員與本課程之間的一切相關事項。
2. 除本條款外，課程詳情、費用、申請方式等，也可能另行載明於網站說明或教師與學員之間的電子郵件等聯絡內容中。

第2條（經營者）

1. 本課程由「てくてく日本語」（以下稱「教師」）以個人事業形式經營。
2. 經營者名稱、所在地、聯絡方式、付款方式及其他相關資訊，記載於「特定商取引法に基づく表記」頁面。

第3條（課程內容）

1. 本課程為一對一線上日語課程。
2. 主要對象為成人日語學習者，程度約為初級至高級（約JLPT N4～N1）。
3. 教師會依照學員的程度、學習目的及興趣，搭配以下內容進行教學：
   • 會話練習，例如自然的日常會話、職場日語等
   • 文法複習與不同表達方式的使用區別
   • 單字、漢字、閱讀及聽力
   • JLPT N4～N1考試準備
   • 日本文化、生活及禮儀等相關主題
4. 課程內容將由教師與學員討論後，依個別需求彈性調整。

第4條（課程方案）

本課程提供以下兩種方案。

1．單次課程

每堂課50分鐘，每次個別申請並支付一堂課費用。

即使學員在同一個月內參加多堂課程，如未事先申請每月4堂方案，仍適用單次課程的費用。

2．每月4堂方案

每堂課50分鐘，每月共參加4堂課程。

學員事先一次支付4堂課的費用，可享有相較於4堂單次課程總額5％的折扣。

希望使用每月4堂方案者，原則上須於該月份第一次上課之前向教師提出申請，並支付規定費用。

學員可依照自己的需求，每月選擇單次課程或每月4堂方案。

第5條（費用及付款方式）

1．課程費用

學員可從新台幣、美元及日圓中，選擇希望使用的付款幣別。

新台幣（TWD）

• 單次課程（50分鐘×1堂）：800 TWD
• 每月4堂方案（50分鐘×4堂）：3,040 TWD

※相較於4堂單次課程總額，享有5％折扣。

美元（USD）

• 單次課程（50分鐘×1堂）：25 USD
• 每月4堂方案（50分鐘×4堂）：95 USD

※相較於4堂單次課程總額，享有5％折扣。

日圓（JPY）

• 單次課程（50分鐘×1堂）：3,800日圓
• 每月4堂方案（50分鐘×4堂）：14,440日圓

※相較於4堂單次課程總額，享有5％折扣。

無論學員的居住地或國籍為何，皆可從上述3種幣別中選擇付款幣別。

恕不接受上述幣別以外的付款方式。

2．付款方式

付款方式如下：

• PayPal
• 匯款至日本國內銀行帳戶

使用新台幣或美元付款時，須使用PayPal。

使用日圓付款時，可選擇PayPal或匯款至日本國內銀行帳戶。

銀行匯款手續費、外幣兌換手續費、海外交易手續費及其他付款時產生的費用，均由學員自行負擔。

3．付款期限

• 單次課程原則上須於上課日前一天完成付款。教師確認收款後，預約才正式成立。
• 每月4堂方案原則上須於該月份第一次上課之前，一次支付4堂課的費用。教師確認收款後，方案申請才正式成立。

4．退費

除本條款另有規定外，已支付的費用恕不退還。

第6條（申請及契約成立）

1. 本課程須透過網站申請表、電子郵件或教師指定的其他方式提出申請。
2. 教師確認申請內容，並與學員就課程內容、日期與時間、費用及付款方式等事項達成共識後，於學員完成付款時，雙方的課程契約正式成立。

第7條（預約及上課時間）

1. 課程預約須透過教師提供的線上行事曆、電子郵件或其他指定方式進行。
2. 上課日期及時間，由學員與教師討論後決定。
3. 學員如希望固定每週的上課日期及時間，教師將在可行範圍內保留固定時段。但因教師或學員的情況，仍可能需要調整上課時間。

第8條（取消及更改上課時間）

1. 如需取消課程或更改上課時間，請於上課日前一天日本時間21:00以前，透過電子郵件等方式聯絡教師。
2. 如於前一天21:00之後取消或更改時間，或未事先聯絡而缺席：
   • 單次課程：該堂課視為已上課，不得退費或補課。
   • 每月4堂方案：該堂課視為已使用，不得補課。
3. 如因突發身體不適、災害、事故等不得已的情況，則不受上述規定限制。教師將了解具體情況後，在可行範圍內與學員討論補課等處理方式。
4. 如因教師因素需要取消或更改課程，教師將儘快通知學員，並安排其他日期補課等處理方式。

第9條（每月4堂方案的有效期限及延後使用）

• 每月4堂方案的課程，原則上須於該月份最後一天以前完成全部4堂課。
• 因學員個人因素而無法於當月完成的課程，原則上不得延至下個月使用。
• 但如因身體不適、工作安排等不得已的情況，並於事前或事發後儘快聯絡教師，教師可依個別情況，同意將部分或全部未完成的課程延至次月底以前使用。
• 經同意延後的課程，須於次月底以前完成。如至次月底仍未完成，該堂課將失效，恕不退費。

第10條（遲到及無故缺席）

1. 如可能遲到，請於得知後儘快透過電子郵件等方式聯絡教師。
2. 學員遲到時，原則上無法延長課程，仍於原定時間結束。
3. 課程開始15分鐘後，如學員仍未聯絡教師，也未進入線上教室，該堂課將視為無故缺席。無論是單次課程或每月4堂方案，該堂課均視為已上課。
4. 如教師遲到，或因教師端的網路或設備問題導致課程時間大幅縮短，教師將以延長課程、安排補課或其他方式進行調整。

第11條（網路環境及線上工具）

1. 本課程使用Zoom、Google Meet等線上視訊會議工具進行。
2. 學員須自行準備並確認以下設備及環境：
   • 穩定的網路連線
   • 配有攝影機及麥克風的電腦、平板電腦或智慧型手機
   • 盡可能安靜的上課環境
3. 如因學員端的網路連線或設備問題而無法進行課程，原則上不得補課或退費。
4. 如明顯因教師端的網路連線或設備問題導致課程中斷，教師將安排補課等處理方式。

第12條（教材及著作權）

1. 本課程使用的教材可能包括：
   • 教師製作的原創教材
   • Podcast逐字稿
   • 市售教科書及練習題等
2. 教師所提供之原創教材、音檔及影片等，其著作權均歸教師或「てくてく日本語」所有。
3. 學員僅可將所提供的教材用於個人學習。未經教師許可，不得複製、轉載、散布、販售或公開，包括上傳至社群媒體及影音平台等。
4. 如課程使用市售教材，其購買費用可能由學員自行負擔。教師將事先說明。

第13條（錄音及錄影）

1. 學員如希望為複習目的錄音或錄影課程，須事先取得教師同意。
2. 錄音或錄影資料僅限個人學習使用，不得提供給第三人、散布或公開。
3. 如教師需要錄音或錄影課程，僅限用於改善教材或教學等目的，並須事先取得學員同意。

第14條（禁止事項）

學員參加本課程時，不得從事以下行為：

1. 對教師或第三人進行誹謗、歧視性發言或騷擾
2. 嚴重妨礙課程進行
3. 未經許可，向第三人分享、販售或公開於課程中取得的資訊或教材
4. 違反法律或公共秩序及善良風俗
5. 其他經教師判斷為不適當的行為

如確認學員有上述行為，教師可能拒絕繼續提供課程。在此情況下，已支付的費用亦不予退還。

第15條（個人資料之處理）

1. 學員於申請時提供的姓名、電子郵件地址及其他個人資料，將用於以下目的：
   • 聯絡課程相關事項
   • 提供服務、活動及其他相關資訊
   • 為改善課程內容而進行分析，僅限統計用途
2. 未經本人同意，教師不會將個人資料提供給第三人，但法律另有規定者除外。
3. 教師可能寄送電子報或新服務資訊。如不希望收到，可隨時停止訂閱。

第16條（不保證學習成果）

1. 本課程旨在協助學員提升日語能力，但不保證以下成果：
   • 通過JLPT等考試
   • 取得特定分數或其他結果
2. 學習成果會因學員本人的學習時間、身體狀況、生活環境及其他因素而有所不同，敬請理解。

第17條（條款變更）

1. 教師得視需要變更本條款內容。
2. 條款變更時，教師將透過網站公告、電子郵件通知或其他方式告知學員。
3. 條款變更後，如學員繼續參加本課程，即視為同意變更後的條款。

第18條（準據法及協議）

1. 本條款及所有與本課程相關的事項，均適用日本法律。
2. 如因本課程發生爭議或意見分歧，學員與教師應本於誠信，透過協商尋求解決。

Online Japanese Lessons – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) set out the conditions for using the paid online Japanese lessons (“Lessons”) provided by Tekuteku Japanese.

By applying for or attending the Lessons, the student is deemed to have read and agreed to these Terms.

If separate terms apply to trial lessons, those terms will take priority.

Article 1: Scope

1. These Terms apply to all matters relating to the Lessons between the student and the instructor.
2. In addition to these Terms, lesson details, fees, application procedures, and other information may also be provided on the website or through email communication between the instructor and the student.

Article 2: Service Provider

1. The Lessons are operated by Tekuteku Japanese as an individual business, hereinafter referred to as “the instructor.”
2. Information concerning the service provider’s name, address, contact details, payment methods, and other legally required information is provided on the page titled “Information Required under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.”

Article 3: Lesson Content

1. The Lessons are private, one-to-one online Japanese lessons.
2. The Lessons are mainly intended for adult learners from beginner to advanced level, approximately JLPT N4 to N1.
3. Depending on the student’s level, learning goals, and interests, lesson content may include:
   • Conversation practice, including natural everyday conversation and Japanese for the workplace
   • Grammar review and differences in usage between similar expressions
   • Vocabulary, kanji, reading, and listening
   • Preparation for JLPT N4 to N1
   • Topics relating to Japanese culture, daily life, and manners
4. Lesson content will be decided through consultation between the instructor and the student and may be adjusted according to the student’s individual needs.

Article 4: Lesson Plans

The following two lesson plans are available.

1. Single Lessons

A single lesson is 50 minutes long. The student applies for and pays for each lesson separately.

Even when the student takes several lessons in the same month, the single-lesson fee will apply unless the student has applied for the Four-Lesson Monthly Plan in advance.

2. Four-Lesson Monthly Plan

This plan includes four 50-minute lessons within one calendar month.

By paying for all four lessons in advance, the student receives a 5% discount compared with the total cost of four single lessons.

Students who wish to use the Four-Lesson Monthly Plan must, in principle, apply to the instructor and pay the required fee before the first lesson of the relevant month.

Students may choose either single lessons or the Four-Lesson Monthly Plan each month according to their needs.

Article 5: Fees and Payment Methods

1. Lesson Fees

Students may choose to pay in New Taiwan dollars, US dollars, or Japanese yen.

New Taiwan Dollars (TWD)

• Single lesson, 50 minutes: TWD 800
• Four-Lesson Monthly Plan, four 50-minute lessons: TWD 3,040

This plan includes a 5% discount compared with the total cost of four single lessons.

US Dollars (USD)

• Single lesson, 50 minutes: USD 25
• Four-Lesson Monthly Plan, four 50-minute lessons: USD 95

This plan includes a 5% discount compared with the total cost of four single lessons.

Japanese Yen (JPY)

• Single lesson, 50 minutes: JPY 3,800
• Four-Lesson Monthly Plan, four 50-minute lessons: JPY 14,440

This plan includes a 5% discount compared with the total cost of four single lessons.

Regardless of nationality or place of residence, students may choose one of the three currencies listed above.

Payment in currencies other than those listed above is not accepted.

2. Payment Methods

The following payment methods are available:

• PayPal
• Bank transfer to a Japanese bank account

Payments in New Taiwan dollars or US dollars must be made through PayPal.

Payments in Japanese yen may be made through PayPal or by bank transfer to a Japanese bank account.

Bank transfer fees, currency conversion fees, international transaction fees, and any other fees associated with payment are the responsibility of the student.

3. Payment Deadlines

• For a single lesson, payment must, in principle, be completed by the day before the lesson. The booking is confirmed once the instructor has confirmed receipt of payment.
• For the Four-Lesson Monthly Plan, the full fee for four lessons must, in principle, be paid before the first lesson of the relevant month. The plan is confirmed once the instructor has confirmed receipt of payment.

4. Refunds

Fees already paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in these Terms.

Article 6: Application and Formation of the Agreement

1. Applications must be submitted through the website application form, by email, or by another method specified by the instructor.
2. After the instructor has reviewed the application and the instructor and student have agreed on the lesson content, schedule, fees, and payment method, the lesson agreement becomes effective when the student completes payment.

Article 7: Booking and Lesson Schedule

1. Lessons must be booked through the online calendar provided by the instructor, by email, or by another method specified by the instructor.
2. Lesson dates and times will be decided through consultation between the student and the instructor.
3. When a student wishes to reserve the same weekly time slot, the instructor will keep that slot available where reasonably possible. However, the schedule may occasionally need to be adjusted due to the circumstances of either the instructor or the student.

Article 8: Cancellations and Rescheduling

1. To cancel or reschedule a lesson, the student must contact the instructor by email or another agreed method by 9:00 p.m. Japan time on the day before the lesson.
2. If a lesson is cancelled or rescheduled after 9:00 p.m. on the previous day, or if the student is absent without prior notice:
   • Single lesson: The lesson will be treated as completed, and no refund or replacement lesson will be provided.
   • Four-Lesson Monthly Plan: One lesson will be treated as used, and no replacement lesson will be provided.
3. The above rule may not apply in unavoidable circumstances such as sudden illness, a natural disaster, or an accident. After reviewing the circumstances, the instructor will discuss a possible replacement lesson or other reasonable arrangement with the student.
4. If the instructor needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson, the instructor will notify the student as soon as possible and arrange a replacement lesson or another appropriate solution.

Article 9: Validity and Carryover of the Four-Lesson Monthly Plan

• In principle, all four lessons included in the Four-Lesson Monthly Plan must be taken by the last day of the relevant month.
• Lessons not taken within the month for reasons attributable to the student may not, in principle, be carried over to the following month.
• However, when unavoidable circumstances such as illness or work commitments arise and the student contacts the instructor in advance or as soon as reasonably possible, the instructor may, at their discretion, allow some or all unused lessons to be carried over until the end of the following month.
• Any lesson approved for carryover must be taken by the end of the following month. If it is not taken by that deadline, it will expire and no refund will be provided.

Article 10: Late Arrival and Absence Without Notice

1. If the student expects to be late, the student must contact the instructor by email or another agreed method as soon as possible.
2. If the student arrives late, the lesson will, in principle, still end at the originally scheduled time and will not be extended.
3. If the student has neither contacted the instructor nor joined the online classroom within 15 minutes after the scheduled start time, the student will be treated as absent without notice. For both single lessons and the Four-Lesson Monthly Plan, the lesson will be treated as completed.
4. If the instructor is late, or if a problem with the instructor’s internet connection or equipment substantially shortens the lesson, the instructor will make an appropriate adjustment, such as extending the lesson or arranging a replacement lesson.

Article 11: Internet Connection and Online Tools

1. The Lessons are conducted using online video conferencing tools such as Zoom or Google Meet.
2. The student is responsible for preparing and checking the following:
   • A stable internet connection
   • A computer, tablet, or smartphone equipped with a camera and microphone
   • A reasonably quiet environment for the lesson
3. If a lesson cannot be conducted because of a problem with the student’s internet connection or equipment, no replacement lesson or refund will, in principle, be provided.
4. If a lesson is clearly interrupted because of a problem with the instructor’s internet connection or equipment, the instructor will arrange a replacement lesson or another appropriate solution.

Article 12: Teaching Materials and Copyright

1. Materials used in the Lessons may include:
   • Original materials created by the instructor
   • Podcast transcripts
   • Commercially published textbooks and exercises
2. Copyright in original materials, audio files, videos, and other content provided by the instructor belongs to the instructor or Tekuteku Japanese.
3. Materials provided to the student may be used only for the student’s personal study. Without prior permission from the instructor, the student may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, or upload them to social media, video platforms, or any other public platform.
4. When commercially published materials are used, the student may be required to purchase them at their own expense. The instructor will explain this in advance.

Article 13: Recording Lessons

1. A student who wishes to record audio or video of a lesson for review purposes must obtain the instructor’s permission in advance.
2. Any recording may be used only for the student’s personal study and may not be shared with third parties, distributed, or made public.
3. If the instructor wishes to record a lesson, this will be limited to purposes such as improving teaching materials or teaching methods, and the instructor must obtain the student’s permission in advance.

Article 14: Prohibited Conduct

Students must not engage in any of the following conduct:

1. Defamation, discriminatory remarks, harassment, or abusive behaviour toward the instructor or any third party
2. Conduct that seriously interferes with the lesson
3. Sharing, selling, or publishing information or materials obtained through the Lessons without permission
4. Conduct that violates applicable laws, public order, or accepted standards of conduct
5. Any other conduct that the instructor reasonably considers inappropriate

If such conduct is confirmed, the instructor may discontinue the Lessons. In such cases, fees already paid will not be refunded.

Article 15: Handling of Personal Information

1. Personal information provided during the application process, including the student’s name and email address, will be used for the following purposes:
   • Communication regarding the Lessons
   • Providing information about services, events, and related matters
   • Statistical analysis for the purpose of improving lesson content
2. Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without the student’s consent, except where required by law.
3. The instructor may send newsletters or information about new services. Students may unsubscribe at any time.

Article 16: No Guarantee of Learning Results

1. The Lessons are intended to support improvement in Japanese-language ability, but the instructor does not guarantee:
   • Passing the JLPT or any other examination
   • Achieving a specific score or other result
2. Learning results vary depending on the student’s study time, physical condition, living environment, and other individual circumstances.

Article 17: Changes to These Terms

1. The instructor may revise these Terms when necessary.
2. Any changes will be announced on the website, by email, or through another appropriate method.
3. If the student continues to take Lessons after the revised Terms take effect, the student will be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Article 18: Governing Law and Consultation

1. These Terms and all matters relating to the Lessons are governed by the laws of Japan.
2. If any dispute or disagreement arises in connection with the Lessons, the student and the instructor will seek to resolve it in good faith through discussion.
